Madrone-

Unique local Hardwood with tones in the auburn and blond range. Though challenging to dry, customers love the look and feel.

Vertical Grain Clear Fir-

is milled perpendicular to the growth rings of the tree. This means that if you are looking at a piece of vertical grain wood, you’ll be able to see the lumber’s tight growth rings in straight lines running vertically up and down the face of the wood. Vertical grain offers more consistent coloring, and is a more stable and durable product. That’s because when it expands and contracts naturally in response to natural moisture in the air, it does so evenly throughout the board--no warping, twisting or buckling.

Black Walnut-

Walnut is one of the finest wood in the world. Our forefathers sought it out and used it lavishly in their homes, barns and fences. The warm brown & blond wood finishes beautifully. It is easy to work, yet durable. It shrinks and swells less than any other wood, which makes it valuable to cabinet makers

Redwood- Reclaimed

Ancient Coastal species of redwood is well worth reclaiming, from recycled water tanks, barn wood, fencing, etc. Old growth has an incredibly tight grain and weather resistance. Tones are warm with red & brown highlights.

White Oak-

White Oak is strong, beautiful, rot-resistant, easy-to-work, and economical, representing an exceptional value to woodworkers. Heartwood is a light to medium brown, commonly with an olive cast. Quartersawn sections display prominent ray fleck patterns.

American Cherry-

Heartwood is a light pinkish brown when freshly cut, darkening to a medium reddish brown with time and upon exposure to light. Sapwood is a pale yellowish color. Cherry is known as being one of the best all-around woods for workability. It is stable, straight-grained, and machines well. develops a rich reddish-brown patina
